Does NOT clear the in-memory tokens already held by the calling `GarminClient` instance — there is no public API to do that, and this method's host is deliberately scoped to `{ client }` only. **NEVER call this against a `FileTokenStore` pointed at `./tokens`** — that is the test harness's live session
